Welcome to the Web home of  Carl Adams.  Dr. Adams is a flutist and educator who is respected for his solo Classical performances in major venues, his artistry as a jazz flutist, and for teaching expertise he has demonstrated while working with students of all ages and at all levels.

   What Does He Do Today?

Having taken early retirement from his post as Professor of Flute at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania and from the major concert stage, Carl Adams is available as a Classical and jazz flutist for a variety of casual playing engagements, concerts and master classes.  He also maintains a small teaching studio.  Typically dividing his time between Pittsburgh, PA and Orlando, FL, he is also available for engagements throughout the U.S.
